Apricot is a beautiful 6-month-old, Calico kitten. With her beautiful markings, gorgeous green eyes and sweet disposition, she is hard to resist! This happy kitty is very social and loves to play. Apricot would brighten any home and would make a wonderful companion.

A man entered a hotel located in the 500 block of N. Michigan Feb. 25 at 7:40 p.m. to use the ATM in the lobby. As he withdrew $20, a man wearing dark pants and a dark jacket walked up and stood behind him.

Scrap metal scofflaw strikes

A security officer was monitoring a residence in the 200 block of W. Ontario Feb. 22 on 11:20 p.m. when he saw a man in the utility room of the building cutting copper wires with bolt cutters. The security officer apprehended the man and called police.

Office worker robbed

A woman was working in her office in the 900 block of W. North Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. when she had to go to the lobby. She secured her office door and left. When she returned an hour and a half later, she discovered her purse and her laptop missing. She told police when she returned to the office the door was still locked. There were no security cameras on the premises. The elevator offered access to all floors.

Cabbie gets pissed

A Yellow Cab driver pulled up to a hotel in the 100 block of E. Huron Feb. 6 6:55 p.m., got out of his car and attempted to enter the hotel. An employee for the hotel stopped him and said that because of a new company policy, cab drivers are no longer allowed to use the hotel’s restroom.

A woman was watching television in her apartment in the 2100 block of N. Halsted Jan. 25 at 9 a.m. when her dog started barking loudly. The dog walked toward the back door in her kitchen and started sniffing at it.

A woman was walking to her vehicle parked in the 1500 block of N. Dayton Jan. 17 at 3:08 a.m. when a man in a black-and-white checkered sweater and gray, hooded sweatshirt came up from behind and began pulling her hair and punching her. The offender demanded her phone.
