Round two on CTA train

A man was jumped by three unknown attackers on a train at around 3:15 a.m. on Feb. 15.
Officers arrived at the Clark/Division CTA train station about 15 minutes after the incident and met with the victim, 44, who stated that he had been travelling southbound on a Red Line train when three men approached him and asked for money. The man replied that he didnít have any, at which point the offenders began beating the man with closed fists on his head and body.
During the attack, one of the men took $300 in cash from the manís pocket. The suspects then exited the train at the Clark/Division stop. The victim, who refused treatment for minor injuries, told police that he had been jumped while riding the train before and had stitches in his head from the previous incident.
