Within the month shoppers and visitors to River North will be able to pick up a 3/8-inch variable weight torque wrench at Sears’ new Craftsman tool store before making a quick snack of an $11 Gooey Chocolate Brownie available next door at famed Grahm Elliot Restaurant.
Crain’s Chicago Business reported this week that a Sears Holdings Corp. company spokesperson confirmed that a lease was signed for the property at 233 W Huron Street. The store is expected to be an “experience” store and mimic the nearby Kenmore Live Studio which opened last spring.
