Schatzie is an adorable, 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix. With gigantic ears and crooked smile, Schatzie is a unique-looking dog. What sets him apart from other canines is one-of-a-kind personality!

This spunky fellow needs a loving home where his new family will have time and energy to dedicate to training, exercise, and, of course, play! This fun and feisty boy just spent a month at home with a PAWS Chicago volunteer and did wonderfully! Food-motivated and clever, Schatzie learned lots of tricks including sit, stay, down, shake, crawl and jump! He is always happy to show off his skills, especially in return for a treat or belly rub.

Schatzie LOVES people and prefers to be sitting in your lap or at your feet. He is great with other dogs, and is house-trained and relaxed in his crate. Games of fetch are his favorite, but Schatzie is happy to go along with whatever you are doing.

He hasn’t spent much time around children, but would be best suited for a home with kids 10 and over for now.

Give this sweet little guy a chance, and he is guaranteed to repay you with years of laughter and loyalty!

Sheeba is a loving, 3-year-old Calico. You’d never know that this beautiful, sweet girl was found wandering the tough Chicago streets, worried about when her next meal would be. Luckily, after being brought into Animal Care and Control, PAWS Chicago rescued Sheeba.

This striking feline is a loving, outgoing kitty. While a bit shy at first, Sheeba quickly warms up and becomes quite affectionate once she knows and trusts you. She likes to rub up against people and is quite the lap cat.

Sheeba can be a bit of an attention “princess” at times, and would prefer to be the only feline in her household. This sweet girl is sure to be a phenomenal companion to the right family. Sheeba is looking for a quiet home where she can relax and enjoy all the simple pleasures in life: good food, a warm bed, and a cozy human lap.
