Meet Sneakers
Sneakers is a peppy, 4-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix. This loveable girl was found wandering the streets in September and wound up at Animal Care & Control. When no one claimed her, Sneakers made her way to the PAWS Chicago Adoption & Humane Center, where she has been given a second chance at life. It is impossible not to fall in love with this pup’s speckled ears and sweet personality! She loves to give kisses and is very affectionate.
Sneakers recently spent a few months with a foster family. Playful and fearless, this tenacious terrier loves her toys (particularly her favorite stuffed bunny) and is the perfect walking buddy. She sometimes overwhelms other dogs with her energy level and rough play, but she does get along with some dogs. Despite her small size (only about 15 lbs.) Sneakers is very quick and can jump high in the air. She would excel in an agility class, and loves anything that challenges her mentally and physically.
Meet Pierre
Pierre is a chubby, brown tabby looking for a home. He recently spent a month in foster care, and did wonderfully! This laid-back cat adored the 4-year-old and even snuggled with their two giant Bernese Mountain dogs. He got along great with the resident cat as well. This 17 lb. boy does like to chase feather wands, but most of the time he’s content to just relax, preferably with his chin resting on your shoulder. Pierre is exceptionally friendly with visitors, and had excellent litter box habits in his foster home. Pierre’s gentle nature and fun-loving purr-sonality will make him the ideal kitty for a busy family!
