Meet Persimmon
Persimmon is a sweet American Bulldog mix looking for a family to love. This freckled 5-year-old was transferred to PAWS Chicago after arriving at Chicago Animal Care & Control as a stray.
Suffering from two masses on her ribs, a strained ligament in her leg, and a problem with her eyelids, Persimmon needed some TLC! Luckily, with the help of PAWS Chicago’s vets, Persimmon has made a full recovery. She has also been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed– all she needs is a loving family to start her new life! Persimmon loves doggie treats, playing outside and exploring with her curious nose. This sweet girl gets along with most other dogs and people too.
Meet Lilliana
Lilliana is a beautiful, 2-year-old cat who would love to become a part of your life. Lilliana arrived at PAWS Chicago in February, after turning up at Animal Care and Control as a stray. Thankfully, she now has a second chance and is ready to start her new life! Lilliana’s soft, white coat and orange eyes are stunning, and she even has a perfect crown of grey fur to top her adorable head.
This beauty queen also loves to run, play and be with her favorite people. She loves toy mice, and will play with just about anything that she can bat around or chase. Lilliana doesn’t mind other kitties and really warms up to humans.
If you are interested in adopting Persimmon or Lilliana, please call 773-935-PAWS, visit www.pawschicago.org, email adoptions@pawschicago.org or stop by the PAWS Chicago Adoption & Humane Center located at 1997 N. Clybourn Avenue.
