Henery is an energetic 2-year-old Blue Heeler mix who absolutely loves people and is also great with other dogs! In late October, Henery was transferred to PAWS Chicago after he was left at Animal Care & Control as an unclaimed stray. He is completely house- trained, has excellent leash manners and is a fast learner for trick commands. He already knows “sit”, ”down”, “touch”, “spin”, and “leave it”! When Henery isn’t working on new tricks, he loves to spend time at the dog park. He can spend hours playing fetch with both human and doggie companions. Henery is full of energy and enjoys an active lifestyle.

Johan Sebastian is a white and gray 11-year-old male cat who would love to come home with you. Johan is a laid back fellow and would be a purrrfect lap cat for someone who needs a companion to watch a favorite TV show with. He likes to snuggle with human companions and sleep on big comfy pillows. Johan is so adorable that volunteers at PAWS Chicago love to spend extra time with him and tell him how handsome he is. When Johan isn’t taking a cat nap, he loves to look out the window and play with wand toys. Johan has already been micro-chipped, neutered, and is up-to-date on his shots. He is looking for a family with an open heart to let him have a place to call home.
