Leroy
Leroy is a handsome, 2-year-old Shepherd mix. This sweet boy arrived at PAWS Chicago after he was left as an unclaimed stray at Animal Care & Control. Energetic, Leroy still has a lot of puppy in him and is always up for a good time. He loves to run and chase tennis balls and would do well in an active home where he will get a lot of exercise. Leroy is quite the social butterfly in doggie play groups. He is a clever dog who already knows “sit” and “down”, and would love to learn as much as he can with some more obedience training–he’s recently graduated from a leash etiquette class with a PAWS Chicago volunteer. He is one smart cookie!
Linnie
Linnie is a striking, 4-year-old Bengal cat. PAWS Chicago volunteers love her stripes and beautiful marble coat. Linnie was transferred to PAWS Chicago from Animal Care & Control after being found as a skinny stray. She is a bit shy at first but is making wonderful progress! She has gained some weight and has a healthy appetite. Bengals are known for being gorgeous, athletic, and independent—and Linnie is no exception. She loves to look out the window and watch the goings on in the neighborhood. She even “chirps”! Linnie also loves to play with wand toys and is diligent about using her scratching post and litter box. Because Linnie is a little shy, she would do best in a calm household without dogs or children.
If you are interested in adopting Leroy or Linnie, please call 773-935-PAWS, visit www.pawschicago.org, email adoptions@pawschicago.org or stop by the PAWS Chicago Adoption & Humane Center located at 1997 N. Clybourn Avenue.
