Branden
Branden is a 3-year-old Rottweiler mix who found his way to PAWS Chicago after being picked up on the streets as a stray. This silly, fun-loving boy adores people, and always wants to be near you. He likes making new friends, and is quick to lean against your leg, give you a big smile, and wait to have his chest scratched. A total love bug, Branden is always ready to snuggle and wags his tail like crazy when receiving a belly rub. Branden also has a playful side and loves to romp around and run. He is great with other dogs, especially young, athletic ones who have a similar playful enthusiasm. Branden even shares his toys nicely with other canines, and likes to wrestle. He doesn’t quite understand fetch yet, but loves to chase and be chased! So far, Branden has mastered “sit” and can’t wait to learn more; he is a very good listener, particularly if there are treats involved. This smart, sensitive pup will make the perfect pet for the family who can give him the exercise and affection he craves.
If you are interested in adopting Braden, please call 773-935-PAWS, visit www.pawschicago.org, email adoptions@pawschicago.org or stop by the PAWS Chicago Adoption & Humane Center located at 1997 N. Clybourn Avenue.
Theodore Roosevelt
Theodore Roosevelt’s golden eyes say it all; he is looking for someone to love, and hoping to find a loving new home. This 3-year-old Russian Blue was brought to PAWS Chicago after being rescued from the tough streets of Chicago. While Theodore Roosevelt is a young guy, his calm attitude and the wisdom in his eyes make him seem like an older cat. His notable name fits him appropriately as he has a very distinguished personality. Upon entry into PAWS Chicago, he did test positive for FIV. But despite his rough beginning, Theodore has a sunny disposition and a positive outlook on life. Theodore is one of the most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet. He loves affection and cuddle time from his human companions. He’s been even known to groom and snuggle with his fellow female feline roommates. When he is not lounging around, Theodore Roosevelt loves playtime and enjoys batting around his little mice and sock toys.
Theodore Roosevelt is a healthy, FIV+ cat who is not on any medications. If you would like to meet him, or learn more about Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), please visit the PAWS Chicago Adoption Center at 1997 N. Clybourn, email adoptions@pawschicago.org, or call (773) 935-7297.
